Being the main producers of the native Moristel and Parraleta grape varieties, Bodega Pirineos also offers a successful balance with foreign grape varieties thanks to its high technical capacity. This allows them to produce a wide portfolio of top quality wines. All with strong roots and social support thanks to the participation of more than 200 wine growers from the Comarcal Comarcal de Somontano that are distributed throughout 22 towns in Somontano. The authenticity of the crops and the privileged microclimate of Somontano are, among others, the main secrets for producing “technically perfect” wines that have satisfied millions of consumers for more than 50 years.

Winemaking

Alquézar Rosado takes its name from a beautiful medieval village in the Sierra de Guara, in the heart of Somontano. From there start the most spectacular mountain activities that can be done in the area. The most refreshing sparkling rosé combines Tempranillo and Cabernet to offer us an ideal wine for the youngest palates.

Tasting notes

A beautiful intense strawberry pink color. Fruity aromas of cherries, violets, stone fruits and mint. On the palate it is soft, with a rich sweetness balanced by the presence of carbon that gives it freshness. Great fruit sensation both on the nose and on the palate, with a great aromatic persistence.

Recommended serving temperature: 8°C.

Pairing recommendation

It pairs perfectly with pasta, pizzas, sautéed vegetables and rice dishes.
