Pagos de Araiz Rosado is made with grapes from the winery’s own vineyards. The vineyards in which the Grenache grape variety is grown are an average of 20 years old and are cultivated on gentle hills with a silty clay texture and pebbles.
The traditional method of gravity maceration and bleeding is used. Each parcel of Grenache is harvested separately, seeking a fresh point of ripeness. The grapes are destemmed and after a brief maceration, the must is extracted by bleeding, without pressing, only by draining the clean must. Subsequently, the must ferments slowly at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks for approximately 20 days. Finally, the rosé wine is racked and clarified before bottling.
Intense pink colour with purple tones, bright and attractive. Aromas of fresh red fruits, ripe cherries and blue flowers from the Garnacha grape variety. Clean, elegant appeal. Lively, fresh and sweet on the palate with a finish of clean red fruits. Balanced and persistent. It is a wine that expresses the origin of this land (Olite, Navarra), made with care to exalt the elegance and finesse of the Garnacha grown on the estate.
