Deep in the southwest of France, about halfway between Bordeaux and Toulouse, lies the famous region of Armagnac. And right in the heart of it, the estate stretches across 300 hectares of land and features a beautiful castle from the 13th century, the Château de Gensac. Vines have been cultivated here for over 600 years.

Winemaking

Hand picking of grapes. Only the best grapes from the winery’s oldest, most valuable Tannat vines will find their way into this bottle. They are kept in barriques for 24 months before being bottled, where they develop all their glory.

Tasting notes

The dark, ruby red reflects the entire intensity and generosity of this great wine – a true rarity!
