Winemaking

This entry-level wine freely combines the Pinot Noir and Gamay grape varieties from Greater Burgundy. The blend depends on supplies and the type of wine required from the 2 Burgundy grape varieties. Clay-limestone and granite soil. The grapes are harvested when fully ripe. Traditional fermentation, punching down of the cap, then ageing for several months in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve the varietal characteristics.

Tasting notes

A dark ruby colour and a nose that develops notes of red fruit and spices. On the palate, a lovely fruity attack with light but silky tannins. A fine finish of red fruit and spices.

Perfect with grilled white meats, gratins, pasta in sauce.
