Vega Real is the result of a harvest rated VERY GOOD by the Ribera del Duero Designation Regulatory Council. This is a very fruity wine, the main characteristic of a young red, with the addition of several months in new American oak barrels, which give this wine its characteristic complexity and smoothness. Very suitable for enjoyment without complications, with almost any food and environment. Bodega Vega Real belongs to the Barbadillo group, so behind this wine is all the technique and wisdom of this group of winemakers.

Winemaking

The vineyards are located at an altitude of 800-920 meters. Average age 18 years. The harvest took place in the first week of October.

Tasting notes

The top layer is a dark garnet color with a purple border. A broad aroma with notes of black fruits and plum, as well as toast. Strong and sweet tannins. Balanced acidity, long aftertaste.

Food pairing

Ideal with grilled or baked meat, stewed vegetables, pasta, rice and legumes.
