The Tenuta Viglione winery comes from the ancient agricultural and viticultural traditions of the Zullo family, who have been producing quality wines in these areas for decades, with the aim of enhancing the enormous viticultural potential of the area between the municipalities of Gioia del Colle and Santeramo in Colle. Puglia is in the province of Saapa. This is the land that stretches to the Mediterranean, the bridge to the east. Every year, it is one of the top regions in Italy for the production of Italian wine grapes. Le Murge is a sub-region defined by a karst plateau in central Apulia. The mountainous terrain, which ranges from 300 to 500 metres in altitude, is clay- and limestone-rich and mineral-rich. Its ancient origins are attested to by the discovery of numerous marine fossils. The microclimate is mild, with temperature fluctuations of around 20 °C in the pre-vintage period. These characteristics make it an ideal habitat for vineyards.
