By carefully cultivating his family’s old vineyards and embracing ecological farming, he creates wines that restore a true identity to the region. His Rieslings and Silvaners from the distinctive single vineyards Harxheimer Schlossberg and Harxheimer Lieth reveal the full greatness and potential of this landscape. HARXHEIM LIETH SILVANER DRY is a single‑vineyard wine expressing the pure character of the Harxheim Lieth site and the origin of the hinterland.

Winemaking

Selective harvesting in several passes, 18–36 hours of skin maceration, gentle pressing, spontaneous fermentation in stoneware vessels, 6 months of full‑lees ageing, gentle filtration and 6 months of bottle maturation.

Tasting notes

The nose shows hay, spice, wet stone and yellow fruit. On the palate it is precise and tightly structured, powerful and strongly mineral; good body and length, playful and multi‑layered with notes of herbs, tea, banana and melon. Serving temperature: 10–14°C. Drinking: now – 2030+
