About the Hesketh family.

«Three generations of our family have been involved in the wine industry for over sixty years, but an aversion to convention has always led us to follow ‘the path less travelled by’. In 2006 Jonathan and Trish established the Hesketh Wine Company to produce wines that reflect the family’s history. Winemaking

Located in the Lobethal sub-region, this wonderful Adelaide Hills vineyard is approximately 420m above sea level and has gentle undulating north-south rows that collect maximum sunshine. A crisp and delicate wine with great length that is well balanced and complex. The fruit of this wine was harvested on March 11th and pressed in 2nd fill French oak Barriques and Hogsheads. Primary fermentation lasted 30 days, during which the barrels were kept cool. Malolactic fermentation was partially completed in the barrel and the lees were mixed monthly. Aged for 8 months in oak barrels.
