Teanum was established in 2000 in San Severo, the hometown of its founders, Domenico Demaio and Vincenzo de Matteo, as well as the first Apulian town to obtain the PDO designation, in 1968. Today Teanum has another winery in San Paolo di Civitate and boasts a production of 1.5 million bottles per year, sold in Italy and in some 30 countries worldwide.

Winemaking

Vinification for 15-20 days with prolonged maceration in steel containers. Maturation in steel containers for 1 year, bottle aging.

Tasting notes

Intense garnet red. Bewitching aromas of small red fruits, figs and light balsamic tones. Intense and balanced taste.

Food pairing

Ideal with roasted game meats and sliced beef.
