The origin of everything. The soul of the company. Barbadillo is south and sea. It is Cadiz and it is west wind. It is Sanlúcar and it is tradition. It is a century-old winery and it is the future. Its history dates back to 1821, the year in which it began to produce manzanilla. Since then Barbadillo has not stopped evolving, always looking for wines that surprise and leave their mark.
Quadis, derived from the ancient name of the city of Qadis (Cádiz), gives its name to this red wine, which has a new image in this 2022 vintage. Barbadillo pays homage to one of the most important historical enclaves in a wine with the same name and grandeur. It comes from albariza soils and combines French grapes with the autochthonous Tintilla de Rota and seduces with its intense and brilliant colour. In the mouth it captivates with its pleasant entry and persistence.
Intense red colour. Fruity and spicy aromas. Smooth and silky on the palate.
Recommended serving temperature: 12° – 14°C
It goes well with Iberian ham, cheese, nuts, olives, salmon, piquillo peppers, grilled meats, chicken curry and rice dishes.
