Located in the heart of the Burgundian Golden Triangle (Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault), Chartron et Trébuchet is today recognised for the very high quality of its white wines, including 5 Grands Crus, and is remembered by connoisseurs as the creator of the greatest Puligny-Montrachet wines, symbols of the House.
Tasting notes
Color – pale straw, with a greenish tint. The taste is light, drinkable, refreshing, with tones of white flowers and fruit candies, crisp acidity and balanced mineral notes. The aftertaste is dry and short. The fresh aroma is represented by shades of cut grass, pear, lime and grapefruit, boxwood honey and black currant buds.
Food pairing
Ideal as an aperitif, paired with fried fish, oysters, and seafood.
