About wine

Located halfway up the hillside, in the heart of the village, under the château of the same name, facing east, on marly soil, micro-plot of white Maltroie produces a wine balanced by the virtues of its terroir and the advanced age of its vines.

Tasting notes

Discreet wood and a whiff of toast easily allows the ripe aromas of pear essence and white flowers to shine. The lilting and relatively refined flavors are pretty if not especially dense. It has a texture of the bitter lemon-inflected finish. Ideal drinking window of 5 to 8 years. Ageing potential of 10 years.
