The name of the property comes from the word “Roche taillée” (cut rock) as large quantities of limestone were used for the construction of the famous estates in the region. The estate is located in the commune of Ordonnac near Château Potensac, owned by J.H. Delon. Château Roc Taillade has been in the same family since 1870 and is now run by Stéphanie and Claude Francesco (5th generation!).
