The origin of all things. The soul of the company. Barbadillo is the south and the sea. It is Cádiz and it is the west wind. It is Sanlúcar and it is tradition. It’s a century-old winery, and it’s the future. Its history dates back to 1821. to the year when manzanilla began to be produced. Since then, Barbadillo has not stopped developing, always looking for wines that surprise and leave their mark.

Winemaking

More demanding gourmands will agree that Cuco is refinement in its purest form.
Old oxidatively aged wines, such as our Oloroso Cuco, can retain ideal organoleptic characteristics for years after bottling, even if the bottle has been previously opened.

Tasting notes

Mahogany color. Its aroma brings to mind memories of the dignified forest of its upbringing and notes of dried fruits. Soft and dry on the palate.

Food pairing

Traditional: game stews.
