The Chiacchiera winery, founded in 2010 by the family of Emanuela Mancianti, is located on the hills of Montepulciano, in the picturesque area of Cervognano. Across 18 hectares of carefully arranged vineyards, authentic Tuscan wines are crafted. The family — Emanuela, Donato, Viola, Matilde and Vera — personally oversees every stage of the work, preserving tradition, caring for the land, and welcoming guests to discover a world of genuine flavour and heartfelt hospitality.

Winemaking

After careful grape selection, the berries undergo fermentation and skin‑contact maceration for about 15–20 days in concrete tanks at controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless‑steel tanks, followed by 18 months of aging in 750–1000 kg casks and 6 months of refinement in the bottle.

AGING POTENTIONAL
10-15 years.

Tasting notes

A smoky and slightly old- fashioned, wine with aromas of embers, licorice, leather, earth, restrained black cherries and cigar. Medium to full-bodied, velvety, crisp and tense with a chewy finish. Drink or hold.

Food pairing

Its gentle sweetness and smooth tannins make it an excellent pairing with both simple and refined meat dishes, flavourful pasta, or aged cheeses.

Best served at 16–20°C.
