Esprit des Mers is the typical and fresh white wine of Borie-Manoux, dominated by Sauvignon and from the famous Entre-Deux-Mers appellation in Bordeaux. The appellation is bordered by the Dordogne to the north and the Garonne to the south and is mainly planted with Sauvignon blanc and Sémillon for the white wines, as well as Muscadelle and Merlot blanc, Colombard and Ugni Blanc. After the harvest, Borie-Manoux selects the best lots from Entre-Deux-Mers for the Esprit des Mers from selected partner châteaux.

Tasting notes

Pale and limpid colour. Pleasant, the nose asserts itself fresh and greedy on aromas of fruits and citrus fruits. A beautiful, finely tamed acidity.

Pairing recommendation

Served chilled, it is suitable as an aperitif as well as to accompany fish and shellfish.
