Owned by the Castéja family, the vineyard of Château Haut‑Madrac stretches across parcels adjoining those of Château Lynch‑Moussas. Special care is given to the vines to allow them to express both the unity and diversity of the estate’s terroirs and grape varieties.

Winemaking

Traditional vinification in stainless‑steel vats lasts about 4 weeks. The wine is aged in oak barrels (around 25% new) for 18 months.

Tasting notes

Brilliant ruby colour. The nose opens with jammy fruit notes combined with toasted and spicy aromas. The palate is powerful and long, marked by roasted flavours. Young, elegant tannins.

Food pairings

Pairs beautifully with duck, honey‑glazed turkey, leg of lamb, or roast pork.
