About the Hesketh family.

Winemaking

Coonawarra’s cool climate and famous terra rossa over limestone soils create ideal growing conditions for premium Cabernet Sauvignon. A wine with a bright fruit-based style, the wine is made using mainly older French oak, which leaves the tannins soft and supple to emphasize the ripe fruit notes. Making wine with liveliness and depth. A lively and fresh style of Cabernet that drinks well now, but also has the depth of flavor to age gracefully over the medium term.

Tasting notes

Enticingly ripe and aromatic with notes of blackcurrant, sweet cherry, olive and toasted almond, it is finely textured and beautifully weighted in the mouth, revealing juicy fruit flavors with fine, polished tannins. Harmonious and classically designed with a long structured finish.
