From the ancient riverbed soils of Marlborough’s upper Wairau Valley comes a Pinot Noir that doesn’t just talk the talk — it struts. Bold yet elegant, Misty Cove’s Estate Pinot Noir channels the raw beauty of our region into something truly remarkable. We’re incredibly proud of this wine.

Winemaking

The fruit was hand-picked at optimal ripeness. Each parcel was fermented in small open-top fermenters and hand-plunged up to three times daily to ensure full tannin and colour extraction. The wine was gently pressed and aged in oak barriques for ten months, enhancing structure and complexity, before being bottled in early summer. The result is a Pinot Noir of remarkable balance, intensity, and elegance.

Tasting notes

Bright, juicy, and utterly delicious. Expect ripe cherries, strawberries, and a whisper of plum, wrapped in silky tannins and just enough oak to keep things intriguing. Pinot with personality: fresh, juicy, and unapologetically Marlborough.
