Luca Menicucci’s company Menicucci 1689 is the success of a man who has always strongly believed in his territory. Tuscany, a wonderful land whose wines are loved the world over. In his wines, he describes a landscape that, in the simplicity of its grapes, captivates the tastes of the whole world.
Winemaking
Manual selection from the second half of September to the first half of October with deep selection in the vineyard, gentle pressing of the grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature between 23 and 25 °C. The wine of the three grape varieties is made separately. Soaking on the skin for 10 days. Ageing: 24 months in new French oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red color. A bouquet of great complexity, characterized by distinctly fruity notes, well combined with balsamic notes of great finesse and wood. A wine with great character and texture that gives volume and persistence to the palate. Tannins are soft and well balanced with acidic components in a complex of softness and flavor balance.

Seasoned cheese, game steaks and red meat.
