Teanum was established in 2000 in San Severo, the hometown of its founders, Domenico Demaio and Vincenzo de Matteo, as well as the first Apulian town to obtain the PDO designation, in 1968. Today Teanum has another winery in San Paolo di Civitate and boasts a production of 1.5 million bottles per year, sold in Italy and in some 30 countries worldwide.
Winemaking
Manual harvesting. Soft pressing, fermentation in steel containers at a controlled temperature of 14°C. Maturation in steel containers, bottle ageing.
Tasting notes
Beautiful greenish colour with golden highlights, intense bouquet of ripe yellow fruits.
Food pairing
Fresh, it goes well with hors d’oeuvres, first and second courses based on fish.
