Teanum was established in 2000 in San Severo, the hometown of its founders, Domenico Demaio and Vincenzo de Matteo, as well as the first Apulian town to obtain the PDO designation, in 1968. Today Teanum has another winery in San Paolo di Civitate and boasts a production of 1.5 million bottles per year, sold in Italy and in some 30 countries worldwide.

Winemaking

Manual harvest. 15 days of prolonged maceration in steel containers. Maturation in steel containers, bottle ageing.

Tasting notes

Luminous red with good texture, elegant aromas of fruit and jam that we find on the palate in good company with soft, elegant tannins.

Food pairing

Barbecued roasts and torcinelli are recommended pairings.
