Teanum was established in 2000 in San Severo, the hometown of its founders, Domenico Demaio and Vincenzo de Matteo, as well as the first Apulian town to obtain the PDO designation, in 1968. Today Teanum has another winery in San Paolo di Civitate and boasts a production of 1.5 million bottles per year, sold in Italy and in some 30 countries worldwide.

Winemaking

Soft pressing of grapes, fermentation in steel containers at a controlled temperature of 14 °C. Aging in steel containers, refinement in the bottle.

Tasting notes

Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, it opens on the nose with tropical fruity aromas, the taste is mineral and soft pleasantly warm. Complex and savory, with good persistence.

Food pairing

lt goes well with shellfish, appetizers and tasty fish dishes.
