Teanum was established in 2000 in San Severo, the hometown of its founders, Domenico Demaio and Vincenzo de Matteo, as well as the first Apulian town to obtain the PDO designation, in 1968. Today Teanum has another winery in San Paolo di Civitate and boasts a production of 1.5 million bottles per year, sold in Italy and in some 30 countries worldwide.

Secondary fermentation: Martinotti–Charmat method.
Residual sugar: 12 g/L

Tasting notes

Pale straw‑yellow color with greenish highlights, featuring a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is pleasantly fruity, with notes of Golden Delicious apple and delicate hints of wildflowers. On the palate, it is fresh and savory, with a pleasantly harmonious and fruity finish.
Serving temperature: 6–8°C

Food pairing

Ideal as an aperitif. Excellent also with white meats.
