At the Allacher winery, the indispensable knowledge of tradition are combined with the modern insights of the next generation. What grows from this are great wines. The vineyards are located on about 30 hectares of the unique wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee, including the legendary vineyards Altenberg and Salzberg. The soil gives the potential. The winery provides natural, attentive care. Fresh fruity white wines, powerful dense red wines and extract-rich sweet wines are the precious result. Here happiness and glass find each other.

Winemaking

The grapes were harvested at the ideal time of ripeness. After a maceration period of 12 hours, the grapes were gently pressed. The grape juice was completely clarified and fermented in stainless steel tanks under refrigeration. After an average fermentation time of 10 days, the finished wine was drawn off. The Welschriesling was stored on the fine lees for about one month. The wine was then filtered and bottled.

Tasting notes

The Welschriesling, winner of the 2023 Burgenland regional award, presents itself in a light yellow-green colour. It captivates with a typical varietal aroma with an intense scent of green apples. On the palate, it unfolds an extraordinary freshness, fruitiness and liveliness. Fine spicy nuances and a piquant acidity give it an elegant structure. The finish is harmonious and leaves a lasting impression. This Welschriesling is the perfect wine for summer, delighting with its characteristic aromatics and refreshing qualities.
