His Rieslings and Silvaners from the distinctive single vineyards Harxheimer Schlossberg and Harxheimer Lieth reveal the full greatness and potential of this landscape. Growing on healthy limestone soils, the wines express their origin with honesty and purity. These are the wines of a forgotten land, speaking once again in their own authentic voice.

Winemaking

Hand selection, gentle pressing, clarification of the must, spontaneous
fermentation in stainless steel tanks; natural stop of fermentation through
cooling; early racking; filtration and bottling.

Tasting notes

Slightly herbal to subtly spicy aroma with almond nuances and a delicate
hint of bacon, alongside pale yellow fruits, a touch of lichen and dried
mushrooms. Youthful, very sweet fruit with dark berry nuances, fine acidity
and gentle phenolic grip. Hints of honey and pale blossoms, saline
undertones and a good finish.
