Since 1956, the Aldegheri family has been working in the heart of Valpolicella, driven by passion, dedication, and a continuous commitment to refining the winemaking craft that has made this territory renowned worldwide. Each family member contributes through a distinct role: Lorenzo oversees viticulture and vinification, Adriano manages administration and the development of innovative production systems, while their cousin Vincenzo leads the commercial activities and public relations. The second generation also plays a vital part, bringing fresh perspectives and modern expertise. The family spirit of the Aldegheri estate, combined with a perfect balance of technology, respect for nature, meticulous grape selection, and constant improvement of winemaking techniques, has enabled the creation of wines that embody the soul of the land and offer moments of genuine pleasure.
This wine is born from the vinification of Trebbiano di Lugana, a grape variety with unique characteristics shaped by climate and soil. Its straw‑yellow colour opens to enticing aromas of exotic fruit, apricot, and nectarine, completed by remarkable fullness and perfect harmony.
Grape varieties: Predominantly Trebbiano di Lugana, with small amounts of Chardonnay and other old non‑aromatic varieties.
Winemaking
After destemming and soft pressing, the must undergoes several hours of cold maceration to enhance varietal expression and aromatic extraction. This is followed by separation and clarification of the free‑run must. Controlled fermentation (around 15 °C) is followed by ageing in stainless steel and a brief passage in barriques.
Food pairing
Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with cold and warm starters, first courses, fish dishes, white meats, and medium‑aged cheeses. Serving temperature 10–12°C.
