“Brulières” is a wine from Château Beychevelle’s 12 hectares just south of Saint-Julien. The vineyard belongs to Château Beychevelle. Vineyard management and vinification are carried out by the Château Beychevelle team, headed by Philippe Blanc.

Winemaking

Gravel and clay soil. Area of the vineyard is 12 ha. Partially manual harvesting. The grapes are brought to Château Beychevelle to be sorted. Bottled at the Château.

Tasting notes

Full-bodied wine with rich and expressive aromas of plums and red berries. Nice balance, good structure and good length. Les Brulières is a classic Bordeaux red wine that stands out from most of the best Crus Bourgeois.
