Misty Cove’s Estate Pinot Gris is a playful creation from our vineyards nestled in the upper Wairau Valley. The stony, ancient riverbed soils work their magic, giving birth to a wine that’s both floral and fleshy, perfectly capturing Marlborough’s unique environment.

Winemaking

The fruit was harvested in the cool of the morning. The juice was pressed and cool‑fermented in stainless steel tanks and acacia barriques, with periodic lees stirring during aging, before being fined, filtered, and bottled.

Tasting notes

Bursting with charm and character, it opens with enticing aromas of ripe peach and baked pears, accented by hints of ginger. The palate is textural and juicy, with nashi pear, grapefruit, and a touch of honeysuckle, leading to a refreshing, lingering finish.
