Luca Menicucci’s company Menicucci 1689 is the success of a man who has always strongly believed in his territory. Tuscany, a wonderful land whose wines are loved the world over. In his wines, he describes a landscape that, in the simplicity of its grapes, captivates the tastes of the whole world.

Making wine

Harvesting in the first half of September. The temperate, maritime, climatic, Alpine chain protects it from the north winds. Winters are cold and wet, summers are hot and muggy with average temperatures. Aging in stainless steel vats.

Tasting notes

A pale yellow colour, a bouquet of small berries, blackberry and plum blossoms with delicate floral (pink) and vegetal notes (tea leaf), decorated with liquorice, graphite and wild memories. An impressive, elegant, austere palate, supported by polished tannins and a tangy mineral-acid note.

Food recommendation

Ideal as an aperitif and with all kinds of fish dishes.
