Maison Cattier is one of the oldest and most renowned family-owned Champagne houses, with a legacy dating back to 1625.

The Cattier estate covers 33 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards, producing wines of exceptional depth, finesse, and perfect balance.

Winemaking

The Blanc de Noirs Premier Cru cuvée is crafted from a 100 % Pinot blend: 75 % Pinot Noir and 25 % Meunier. It includes 40 % reserve wines and has been aged on lees for more than 3 years. Dosage stands at 6 g/l.

Tasting notes

Colour: pale gold brought to life by fine, elegant bubbles. Aroma: refined yet generous with plum, peach and strawberry notes, together with a delicate hint of candied orange peel. Palate: this generosity continues with an explosion of plum, mirabelle, peach, apricot and strawberry, gracefully giving way to acacia honey and a long finish infused with sweet spice and toasted notes.

Food pairing

The Blanc de Noirs 1er Cru has the prestige and power to accompany the finest: Pata Negra ham, beef fillet, duck confit or braised poultry. It can even carry you into dessert — try it with a rich praline Paris-Brest.
